Assam Career: The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 93 Junior Instructor posts in various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Assam. DECT Assam Junior Instructor Salary
- Pay Scale: ₹14,000/- to ₹70,000/- (PB-2)
- Grade Pay: ₹6,800/-
- Other Allowances: As admissible under Govt. of Assam rules.
Eligibility Criteria of DECT Assam Recruitment:
Age Limit: The applicant should not be below 18 years and above 40 years of age on 1st January, 2025. Candidates born not on or before 31.12.1984 and not later than 01.01.2007 are eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC: 5 years
- ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- Ex-serviceman: 2 years
- PWD: 10 years
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Educational Qualification:
- Passed HSLC or equivalent qualification from recognized Board / Institution.
- Passed National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate in appropriate trade.
- 1 year Industrial/ Teaching Experience desirable.
Employment Exchange Registration: The applicant must have a valid employment exchange registration card of Assam .

Selection Process of DECT Assam Recruitment
There shall be two phases in the selection process of Junior Instructor Posts in different ITI (s) of Assam:
Phase I: Written Test
- Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Total Marks: 100
