1. Junior Stenographer
Number of Vacancy: 4
Category-wise vacancy:

• UR: 3
• OBC: 1

Pay: Pay Level – 4 (₹ 25,500 – 81,100/-), As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Upper Age Limit as on 14.02.2025: 27 years
Essential Qualification: 10 +2/XIIth or its equivalent and proficiency in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.

2. Junior Secretariat Assistant
Number of Vacancy: 8
Department-wise vacancy:

• General: 3
• Finance & Accounts: 1
• Stores & Purchase: 4

Pay: Pay Level –2 (₹ 19,900 – 63,200/-), As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Upper Age Limit as on 14.02.2025: 28 years
Essential Qualification: 10+2/ XIIth or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.

Other Criteria of CSIR NEIST Jorhat Recruitment

Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.

Age Relaxation: Category wise age relaxation is as mentioned below:

• SC/ ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years

Application Fee: Candidates are required to arrange for a crossed Demand Draft for ₹ 500/ drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat” payable at Jorhat. The last date for submitting online application and making of Demand Draft is 14.02.2025. This date will be the same for the candidates belonging to far-flung areas.

The following details must be filled up on back side of Demand Draft (i) Candidate’s Name, (ii) Candidate’s Category, (iii) Post Code Applied. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR Employees are exempted from payment of application fee.

➥ Click on the “Online Application Form” and complete the registration process by clicking “New Registration”.

➥ In the next stage, click on “Online Application Form” Link and Login.

➥ Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.

➥ Make payment of application fee as per your category and submit the form.

➥ At the end, take a print out of the application form.

The duly signed computer generated application (print-out) accompanied by self – attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education qualifications, experience, and caste certificate, if applicable along with one recent passport size (self-signed photograph) affixed together with Demand Draft (if applicable) should be sent in an envelope super scribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF___________(Post Code _)”by post to the address below so as to reach on or before 5 PM of 28.02.2025.

Following Documents must be attached along with application form sent by post:

a. Signed copy of the printed online application form.
b. Demand Draft of ₹ 500./-(Rupees Five hundred only) as application fee, where applicable.
c. Coloured photograph pasted on the form and signed across in full.
d. Self Attested photocopy of Date of Birth certificate.
e. Self Attested photocopies of education qualification certificates. f. Self Attested photocopy of Caste Certificate for category (if applicable), under which age relaxation is claimed.
g. Self Attested photocopies of PwBD category certificate (if applicable).
h. In case of widow/divorced women/judicially separated women, relevant certificate for the same.
i. In case of Ex-servicemen, the relevant certificate/ full discharge book.
j. No Objection Certificate (NOC) if applicable.
