Boiler Attendant Examination 2021
Office of the Chief Inspector of Boilers, Assam 2021 has recently released the official notification for Boiler Attendant Examination of Class I and Class II to be held as per the Boiler Attendant’s Rules, 2011. Interested and eligible candidates may apply here.
No person, who does not possess a certificate of Competency as a Boiler Attendant, shall be deemed a fit and proper to hold charge of a boiler or boilers of total heating surfaces exceeding 1000sq. meters situated within a radius of 50 meters .
The State Government constitutes a Board of Examiners to conduct examination for the grant of Certificate of Competency as a Boiler Attendant under the provision of Boiler Attendant Rules, 2011.

Eligibility Criteria of Boiler Attendant Examination:
➢ The class wise eligibility criteria is as mentioned below for Boiler Attendant Examination 2021.
Class I Exam:
- Educational Qualification: At least Matriculation or equivalent exam.
- Experience: 2 Years with IInd Class certificate of proficiency as Boiler Attendant.
- Age Limit: Not less than 20 years of age.
Class II Exam:
- Educational Qualification: At least Matriculation or equivalent exam.
- Experience: 2 years as Fireman/ Operator/ Pump man/ Waterman/ Assistant Fireman/ Assistant Operator on a Steam Boiler.
- Age Limit: Not less than 18 years of age.
Note:

Examination Fee:
Class I Exam:
- Rs 500/- (Five Hundred) is to be deposited into Treasury under the Head of Account “0230- Labour and Employment, 103-Fees for inspection of Steam Boiler “or pay online through eGras portal www.assamegras.gov.in .
Class II Exam:
- Rs 300/- (Three hundred) is to be deposited into Treasury under the Head of Account “0230- Labour and Employment, 103-Fees for inspection of Steam Boiler ”or pay online through eGras portal www.assamegras.gov.in
