The SSA Assam has published Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) syllabus for Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) school teachers. The Assam TET syllabus can be download in Pdf format from the official website of SSA Assam (ssa.assam.gov.in).

The syllabus of Paper-1 (LP) and Paper-2 (UP) of Assam TET consists of Child Development & Pedagogy, Language subjects (Assamese, English, Bodo, Manipuri, Hindi etc.), Mathematics & Science and Social Studies. In this page, we are going to discuss the exam pattern and structure of the Assam TET Syllabus both for Paper-1 (LP) and Paper-2 (UP) as per NCTE guidelines. Important Note for Assam TET Syllabus:

  • All (150) questions will be of MCQ type; each question will carry 1 mark.
  • There will be no negative marking
  • Duration of examination: 2 ½ hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-I and 2 ½ hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-II. Additional 20 minutes’ time (per hour) will be there for visually impaired candidates.

  •  Connectionism( Stimulus—Response Theory)

  • Organising Teaching
  • Classroom Management-
